She is a friendly and affectionate girl, who enjoys the company of people. All she wants is a family to call her own. Danica is a young, healthy adult and she'll enjoy an active lifestyle. Someone who wants to be outside on long walks or maybe even looking for a jogging buddy would want to consider taking this girl home. She has a really cute, interactive play style ? she races after a thrown toy and then runs back to her person, with or without the toy in her mouth. She's just excited to be playing with people! She also loves to go for walks, where she can engage her powerful Hound nose in lots of sniffing and exploring of the world around her. Sometimes Danica doesn?t like to be left alone, so a family who can shower her with lots of positive attention, affection and patience will be best for her. We think Danica would do well in a home with cats and with children over the age of 6, and we can do family introductions at the shelter to make sure everyone gets along well. However, she can be selective about who her canine friends are, so we can also do doggie introductions to see if she would be a good fit in the home.
